The “VårPULS” event will take place in Oslo from March 15th to 17th at our sales partner Oslo Hi-Fi Center.
The two integrated amplifiers V 80 SE & V 40 SE from Octave Audio will be demonstrated together with Avantgarde Acoustic Duo SD and KEF Reference 1 Meta.
Also on display are the preamplifier and power amplifier combinations HP 700 SE and MRE 220 SE / RE 320.
Andreas Hofmann from Octave is available for discussions on all three days.
We are pleased to be taking part in the “Ultimate Session Extreme” event in Lisbon.
The event will take place from March 8th to 10th at our distributor “Ultimate Audio”.
We will be demonstrating our new Jubilee Mono Ultimate super power amplifiers with the Jubilee Preamplifier. The Jubilee combination plays with the Mingus Septet speakers from Marten and the DAC Poseidon from Lampizator.
Analog is demonstrated with the Master Jubilee Turntable from Clearaudio and the Grand Master System from DS Audio.
Unfortunately, Andreas Hofmann cannot attend the event personally because he was unable to travel to Lisboa due to strikes in Germany.
On February 2nd and 3rd, 2024, we will present the brand new mono power amplifiers Jubilee Mono Ultimate together with the Jubilee preamplifier at our partner Home Tech Plus in Viernheim. The reference set plays on the Audio Physic Cardeas. The musical theme on Friday evening is the cult group Fleetwood Mac. With an output of 250W, immense power reserves and Octave Power Management for rock-solid performance and reliability, the Jubilee Mono represented a milestone for high-end tube amplifiers. In 2016, design and performance were enhanced with the introduction of the Jubilee Mono SE (Special-Edition) further developed: Eight KT 120 tubes generated an output power of 400 W per channel.
Today, Octave is proud to introduce the revolutionary successor to its flagship Jubilee Mono amplifier model: the Jubilee Mono Ultimate, the new crown jewel of the Octave amplifier range. The Jubilee Mono Ultimate is the most sophisticated amplifier design in the company's portfolio to date and features a host of new technologies including eight KT 170 tubes with 440W per channel.
The history of the Octave MRE mono power amplifiers goes back to 1994. The first model was called the MRE 120. From the beginning, the idea behind this development was to develop tube power amplifiers that would transfer the charm of the tube to a variety of loudspeakers. Therefore, dynamics, pure performance, bandwidth and absolute stability are the prerequisites to achieve this goal.
A key feature of this new series of mono power amplifiers was the development of our advanced pentode circuit. This design found its way into all of our top amplifiers.
The development of the mono power amplifiers ranged from the MRE 120 to the MRE 130 to the MRE 220. Today the MRE 220 is now the MRE 220 SE.
The next Finest Audio Show (FAS) will take place in Vienna on November 18th and 19th at the Austria Center Vienna, Bruno-Kreisky-Platz 1, 1220 Vienna. Save the date: we will be exhibiting in Ettlingen at the „Süddeutsche Hifitage” together with Sieveking Sound and playing a new product for the first time - official introduction in October 2023. We are available for an exchange on both days and look forward to your visit.

We are pleased to announce that Octave Jubilee 300 B monoblocks recently received a very special award in the form of the “Gold Fingerprint” award from High Fidelity magazine in Poland. The magazine only awards it two to three times a year to the most outstanding models it has reviewed.
But just as exciting is the fact that the very experienced and globally recognized reviewer Wojtek Pacula discovered and perfectly described all of Octave's development goals. It is our great pleasure to read about the successful implementation of our concepts from a respected authority who has seen and heard almost every technology and high-end audio component available.

Axpona 2023 starts tomorrow in Chicago. The HP 700 SE preamplifier will power the Dynaudio Confidence 50 together with the MRE 220. In a second setup, the V 70 Class A integrated amplifier will rock the Dynaudio Confidence 20.
On August 13th the legendary summer festival will finally take place again at our partner AURA in Essen. From 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. there is a colorful program with food and drink on Rüttenscheider Straße. In addition to the traditional live music, our Jubilee combination will be the absolute highlight. For the first time, the Triode Jubilee 300 B is playing on an Avantgarde Acoustic model. There will also be presentations from veteran Matthias Böde (hi-fi magazine STEREO). So there is something for everyone. We look forward to welcoming you to Essen.
The High End trade fair in Munich will take place from May 19th to 22nd this year. In-acoustic cables, digital sources from T+A from the HV series and the analogue turntable TD124DD from Thorens are used in the demonstration system. The pre-end combination Jubilee Preamp and Jubilee Mono SE is used as an amplifier. The speakers will be the Audio Physic Cardeas. We are looking forward to your visit.
We are really looking forward to moving to our new premises on the edge of the Carlsbad industrial area. Our new building is finally finished and we can then produce on the ground floor in large, bright rooms with enough space. But before that happens, you have to roll up your sleeves and set everything up again. Telecommunications and IT in particular will challenge us for a few days. That's why we have decided to close the company and will not be available for a total of two weeks.

Unfortunately, the world's leading high-end trade fair in Munich was canceled in May 2020 due to Corona. The next high-end trade fair cannot take place in May 2021 as planned but is already scheduled for September 9th. postponed until September 12, 2021. As always in the M.O.C. in Munich. But with one innovation: Thursday and Friday are reserved for specialist audiences and the press. The public days are Saturday and Sunday.
We actually wanted to present the first Class A integrated amplifier in the company's history, the V 70 Class A, at High End this year. We very much regret not being able to adequately present this new integrated amplifier, which combines the sonic purity of Class A technology with the dynamics and performance of push-pull A/B technology. The V 70 Class A has been available since July and the first three outstanding tests have already appeared in the German-language press. You can read about it in AUDIO, Stereoplay and Image Hifi. In 2019 we presented our consistently newly developed single ended triode power amplifier Jubilee 300 B. Single ended amplifiers are exclusive and also stand for pure class A operation. This year we are presenting another independent Class A concept: the V 70 Class A, a push-pull Class A amplifier with a new Class A power control.
Class A. A circuit concept that has a beguilingly pure mid-range reproduction in both push-pull and single-ended amplifiers due to the low distortion, but unfortunately coupled with low power, dynamics and excessive heating of the amplifier. Features that do not 100% match the product profile of our integrated amplifiers. It was therefore necessary to develop a concept that would bring the undisputed sonic advantages of this principle to bear in everyday life.
After extensive development, the result is a new amplifier concept with a further development typical of Octave: the dynamic quiescent current setting DBC (Dynamic Bias Control). This quiescent current control ensures that the amplifier does not reach the early limiting range typical of Class A with high output powers and low-impedance loudspeakers. The amplifier can therefore deliver twice the peak power of up to 50 W (70 W with Super Black Box) without losing the typical Class-A sound character. By selecting the output power of 25 - 50 W, the V 70 Class A can be optimally adapted to both classic multi-way loudspeakers and horn systems with the highest efficiency. (Information for professionals: possibly with the 6550 JJ and the alternative driver tube ECC 81 - similar to the V 110 SE - outstanding sound properties can be achieved, for example with Tannoy or Avantgarde).
The HP 700 has been redesigned in detail and equipped with a second balanced output. This makes it even easier to implement any bi-amping configuration. The new HP 700 SE preamplifier can still be adapted very precisely to the needs of the system due to its many options (just because of the two slots). Available now. The predecessor model HP 700 is no longer available, and an upgrade from the HP 700 to SE is not possible.
The Golden Ear from Audio and Stereoplay magazine is one of the oldest and largest readers' polls. Readers choose their favorite models and brands in a wide variety of categories. Since 1994 (1st place HP 200) we have been repeatedly elected to the highest ranks. We are happy to have struck a chord with voters again this year with a new product.
The Jubilee 300 B single ended power amplifier was voted 1st place in the tube power amplifier category by a wide margin.
The Jubilee 300 B convinced the Stereoplay editorial team so completely with its radical reinterpretation of SE technology that they awarded us the rarely awarded Innovation Prize 2020. Quote Stereoplay:
“In amplifier construction, the question was whether a designer could ever build a true single-ended Class A amplifier with 300 B triodes with enough power and without significant operational restrictions. Andreas Hofmann from Octave achieved this in 2019. A miracle that convinced readers and editors alike.”
We are very proud of this recognition, which honors the decades of independence of Octave developments.

This is a statement in the renowned hi-fi magazine Stereoplay in the September 2019 issue. This statement is important because it comes from one of the most experienced journalists in the tube sector. By Roland Kraft. The special thing, the absolutely surprising thing for the editorial team, was the overcoming of all the disadvantages of a 300 B concept that had previously been accepted as system-related.
